The Show
This year's show is bigger and better than ever! Host and Emcee Chuck Boorang kicked off the night with a fantastic comedy act. Then it was time to introduce the lucky contestants ready for the honor of their lives on stage. After each lady introduced th
emselves the fabulous Lora Messina performed songs from her album "The Messina is Here" and dedicated a song to all the lovely ladies in the competition.
Next came the glamour pageant with each lady modeling cocktail dresses. Fancy silk, sparkling diamonds, and even black fur covered our beautiful ladies as they strutted their stuff on the virtual runway. Designer Bobbie Marks was the featured sponsor and each lady got to keep their designer dress.
Chuck Boorang introduced all six celebrity judges and then ran through the list of sponsors and advertisers. Some joked that this is the biggest African American love fest of all time!
Finally came the event everyone was waiting for--the swimsuit competition. The audience was not disappointed as one by one each sexy girl showed off their best "assets" with a reggae music dance beat in the background. It seemed like every girl was a favorite of someone in the audience.
The finale represented the "crowning" glory of one lucky 
beauty queen as Cocobunny of the year. Miss Janelle Hopkins of Miami was the lucky winner. She was nearly overwhelmed with emotion when her name was called. It was a wonderful evening followed by the hottest after-party the town has ever seen.
Hundreds of eager girls try for the honor of being named Cocobunny of the year. But, only one lovely ebony babe gets to wear the crown each year. Good luck in the future to all our lovely ladies. And, thanks to the newest lovely Cocobunny of the Year. We know you'll get out there and represent to all the folks around the country!
